JVM Not Found Error is displayed when trying to install DocuShare

Issue

When attempting to install DocuShare a JVM Not Found Error is displayed in the Installation window.

During the installation the database files are created correctly in the database, but files are not installed below the <dshome> directory.

Reason/ Possible Cause

The DocuShare.exe that is used to install DocuShare must exist in a path with simple characters. (Spaces, special characters, and dots are not permitted) 

Invalid path example:

• C:\sally.smith@xerox.com\ds700-b609-Windows\Windows\DocuShare>docushare.exe

Solution

Move the DocuShare installer to a valid path.

An example of a valid path:

C:\ds700-b609-Windows\Windows\DocuShare>docushare.exe
