What are the LDAP Synchronization options available in DocuShare?
There
are 3 options, you should only choose one of these options:
·
Enable Domain Listener to Synch when
items change on the AD / LDAP server.
·
Sync during Login.
·
Daily Synch everything at a certain
time per day.
Option
1: Enable Domain Listener to synchronize when objects change on the Active
Directory /LDAP Server.
Note: This option is only
available in newer releases of DocuShare. If you do not have this option in the
version of DocuShare you are currently using and you require it, contact
DocuShare Customer support to discuss upgrade options.
When
this option is enabled, the user and group synchronization occur when changes
are made to accounts on the LDAP server.
1.
Log into DocuShare as admin.
2.
Click Admin Home | Account
Management | Domains.
3.

When
this option is enabled, the directory service will periodically automatically
synchronize all external users and groups at the specified time. The first
start up time is at the specified hour and minute of the current day (if that
time is past, the service will start at the specified hour and minute of the
next day).
