SQL error 1501 when trying to create objects or users on a trial license
Note: This applies to DocuShare
6.6.1 Servers with a trial license.
Issue
SQL error 1501 is displayed when trying to
create objects and/or users after a DocuShare trial license is applied.
Possible
Cause / Reason

The DocuShare trial license does not allow for
external Database connections.

The DocuShare Server is licensed for DocuShare
Express.
Solution
Contact Licensing to get a trial license that
allows external Database connections.
