Display DS 3.0.x Customizations After Upgrading to DS 3.1

1. Make sure you have copied over your DocuShare\amber\templates\en-US\local directory from your DS 3.0.X site.
   
2. It may be necessary for you to open each .vdf file within your new Local Directory so that they are regenerated with a current date. You must open and save the .vdfs using a text editor such as Wordpad.
   
   NOTE: DocuShare 3.1 can run VDFs from DocuShare 3.0.x; however, there is one exception. If there is customization on the Edit Properties.vdf file the customizations must be manually merged. This is because there is a new option in Edit Properties. Administrators now have the ability to set a Collection to be a Root Collection.
