Guest Access Option Is Not Available on Access Policies Page
Note: This applies to DocuShare 6.6.x ONLY.
The Guest access option is not available on the Admin Home | Site Management | Access Policies page under the drop down menu for Site Access, Registry Access, Account Creation, and Group Creation. The only options available are User and Administrator.
Guests cannot access the site even though the license allows for Guest Users
The license key may have the Restrict Guest Access option enabled.
Contact Support to have an agent verify the license options for your HOST ID to see if this option is enabled.
If support confirms the Restrict Guest Access option is enabled, the customer will need contact their Sales Representative to verify what options were purchased with DocuShare. Once the Sales Rep can confirm this, they may be able to request a new License Key.
