Wikis and Weblogs Pages Need Refresh in Internet Explorer

Creating or editing Wiki or Weblog pages may require forcing a refresh of the browser to display the page. In certain situations Internet Explorer may not display a Wiki or Weblog page. The browser window needs to be refreshed. Press the F5 key or use the Internet Explorer menu to select View > Refresh to correct this problem. 
 
Alternatively the browser can be set to not use cached pages by configuring Internet Explore to check for newer version of stored pages - Every time I visit to the web page.  (see instructions below)

 

NOTE:  This location to change this configuration setting varies with the version of Internet Explorer. 

1. Open Internet Explorer


2. Select the [Tools] menu


3. Select [Internet Options]


4. Select the [General] tab


5. Under the Temporary Internet Files section select the [Settings] button


6. Under the Check for Newer Versions of Stored Pages section select [Every visit to page]
