DocuShare Will Not Start After Applying Update 2

Note:  This applies to DocuShare 6.6.1 Update 2 on Windows.

URLs and virtual root path names

• When upgrading to 6.6.1 Update 2, make sure all URLs and virtual root path names are in lowercase only. Otherwise, DocuShare will not restart.

Note:  This is referring to the Host DNS name and the Tomcat DocuShare Root. 

To verify the settings 

1.     Stop DocuShare.

2.     From the <dshome>\bin directory.

3.     Type dssetup and press Enter.

4.     Verify the that both the Host DNS name and the Tomcat DocuShare Root are entered in lower case.

5.     Start DocuShare.

6.     Install Update 2.
