How to change the Sequence order in View Properties of an Object

Issue

Customer wants to view Properties of an Object in a slightly different order than the default (Title, Summary, Description). This is the case for Collections and Documents.

Solution

This change can be made to the Default Order Globally using Display Sequence.

To Change the display sequence:

1.     Log in as DocuShare admin.

2.     Click Admin Home | Object Properties | Collection or Document Object.  The Object Property Values page displays.

3.     From the Bar, you will see the drop down menus on the left and the right.

4.     Click the Go button next to Display Sequence drop down menu.

5.     Make the changes as needed in the list.

Note:  Enter the sequence number to reorder the visibility of properties and links on Property View and Edit pages.

6.     Click Update Sequence button.

Note:  If Display Sequence is configured, a number will be next to the Labels that are configured to be displayed. Ensure that all the desired labels or properties have a value set, using the next number in the sequence.
