An error occurs when you try to add comments via the Web Browser

Note: This applies to DocuShare 7.

Issue

This issue occurs when a User tries to add a Comment in an existing Document or other Object. The following error is displayed.

An error occurs when you click on Comments:

“This document does not have any comments. Click Apply to add comments to this document.”

The page does not respond when clicking on anything, it gets stuck there.

Reason / Possible Cause

DocuShare 7 does not support the use of compatibility mode.

Solution

Disable Compatibility Mode.
