Wildcard Character in 'Filter By' Search Not Same as LDAP Server
The native search tool for your LDAP server may support both leading and trailing wildcard character searches. For example, *cDo* could find McDonald as well as MacDougal. However, the filtered search used in the DocuShare LDAP module supports only trailing wildcard characters. For example Mc* will find McDonald, but not MacDougal. Characters after the asterisk (*) or question mark (?) character are ignored.
