Location is not available error is displayed when trying to use the map server option in DSDrive

Note: This applies to DocuShare Drive (DSDrive).

Issue

When attempting to use the map server option in DSDrive a Location is not available pop up window is displayed with the following message.

X:\ is not accessible

The service being accessed is licensed for a particular number of connections. No more connections can be made to the service at this time because there are already as many connections as the service can accept.

Reason/ Possible Cause

The fast user switching option is being used. If more than one user account is logged into a workstation this error can occur.

Solution

Only one connection is supported, DSDrive is working as intended.

To resolve the issue do one of the following:

• Log off of all other user accounts and log in again.

• Reboot the workstation and log in with one user account.

Note: When changing user accounts in future log off and log in with the new account, do not use fast user switching option if using DSDrive.
