There is a problem with Adobe acrobat reader if it is running please exit and try again error is displayed when trying to open any pdf files from DocuShare

Issue

While opening any pdf files from DocuShare site (web UI) the following error is displayed.

“There is a problem with Adobe acrobat reader if it is running please exit and try again”

Reason / Possible Cause

This has been known to happen if there is a Network device such as a load balancer that is using PDF compression or caching files when transferring data.  

Solution

If there is any device using PDF compression or caches please disable it to see if it resolves the issue.
