Internet Explorer End of Life and what it means to all DocuShare products

DocuShare Drive has been tested and works with the Microsoft OS 11 and it’s new Edge browser, with the exception of check-in / check-out functionality. To address this a new DocuShare Drive version will be available this fall with a new look and feel, removing browser dependencies. During this bridge time, Microsoft Internet Explorer and DocuShare Drive continue to work providing check-in/check-out functionality, and the DocuShare web interface continues to offer this function unaffected by the Microsoft change.

Microsoft OneDrive icon overlays don’t display when using DocuShare Drive 1.5.1

DocuShare Drive is unable to checkout PDF files if using a Proxy

If there is a Proxy Server being used please check to ensure there are no settings enabled that are using Disk Cache at the Proxy.

DocuShare Drive Search is limited to searching Titles only, it does not search metadata fields or full content. This is working as intended.
